Charity Events

Omni Financial and its emplyees donate time and money to organize fundraising events throughtout the year to help raise money for those in need.

The Omni Financial Charity Committee was founded nine years ago to support local organizations.  Over the past nine years, our charity committee has donated over $250,000 to local organizations including Mount Saint Vincent Home, The Cambyland Foundation, Gilpin Elementary School, MDA, Elbert Elementary School, Breast Cancer research, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Broomfield Fish, Center for People with Disabilities and, local families in need.  In addition to helping those locally, our Charity Committee has also sent care packages to soldiers in Afghanistan who were in need of socks, snacks, beverages, and other personal care items. 

Over the past nine years, Omni’s Charity Committee has organized annual golf tournaments to raise money for MDA, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Gilpin Elementary, The Cambyland Foundation, and Mount Saint Vincent Home.  The first golf tournament started in August 2003 to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) and raised $9,250.00.  The following year, we raised $20,146.73 for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.  In 2005, $30,000 was donated to support Gilpin Elementary School located in Denver, Colorado.  Starting in 2006, the Charity Committee teamed up with Marcus Camby from the Denver Nuggets to raise money for his charity called The Cambyland Foundation.  Omni Financial donated over $110,000 to the Cambyland Foundation between 2006 and 2009.  In August of 2010, Omni Financial’s Charity Committee raised $25,000 which was donated to support the Mount Saint Vincent Home. 

After nine years of unrelenting dedication from Omni Financial employees and sponsors, a grand total of $216,360.39 has been raised through the annual golf tournaments to support these organizations. 

Year after year, Omni Financial’s Charity Committee strives to support as many local organizations as they can and with the dedication of the committee members and Omni Financial employees thousands of people’s lives have been touched.  The Charity Committee is always excited for new opportunities to help those less fortunate and to support the community.
